Ontario has few regions more exciting for natural beauty and biodiversity than the Frontenac Arch. This unique band of landscape - a southern spur of the Canadian Shield - thrusts northern geology into temperate climes. As the St. Lawrence river passes over it, the result is the Thousand Islands. On land, the Arch plays host to intricate networks of clear lakes and rivers. In the very heart of this landscape, a few miles north of the international Ivy Lea Bridge that links Canada and the United States across the Islands, are the From Another Time stables.
